I’m currently studying Business Management in Edinburgh and my journey with golf began just 7 months ago. In this short period, I’ve found myself utterly captivated by the game. However, my initial foray into golf was marked by a significant challenge: finding suitable companions to share a round with. My early golf experiences often found me on the course alone, especially in the tranquility of the morning. This solitude, while peaceful, was also a practical choice as a beginner, allowing me to hone my skills without the pressure of an audience. 

As time passed and my proficiency in golf improved, I enjoyed playing with university friends when they were in town, as well as with my dad and grandad. I was fortunate to have these options, but as my passion for the game deepened, I encountered a new obstacle. Balancing university and part-time work made it increasingly difficult to explore new golf courses and expand my social circle within the golfing community. 

This is how I came up with Go1fing – A platform that links both members and nonmembers, facilitating the discovery of new golf courses and fostering connections with fellow golf enthusiasts. I believe that golf is more than a sport; it’s a medium for building relationships and experiencing new adventures.
